"As a child, I ran around the neighborhood pretending to be Roy Rogers on Trigger, Jr. A horse
like "Trigger" was all I dreamed of owning."

Now as an adult, I have put away childish thoughts, but I never gave up the dream of owning just a pretty palomino who could pass for Trigger. With disposition, gait and conformation being my main objective I searched for just a "trace of Trigger" and found it in Boggy Creek, Manitoba, Canada at the Kaselitz Farm. The product of a very selective breeding business, Sunny's ancestor are among some of the most versatile walking horses of the northwest. If you've ever heard of Yellow Jacket, Silvertip Ricky, Buck LaMarr, and Montana Laddie you are indeed a Walking Horse enthusiast. Although somewhat obscure, these working ranch horses were all the glory in the vast land of the northwest, where an all day ride in the saddle was the norm. These
northwestern walking horses were imported from the same Tennessee stock horses that our beloved state of Tennessee has today, but the wired, show ready drive is not there, in fact, was never there. Instead the trade off is a calm, versatile, willing and stout example of the walking horse as it was when it was transported to Montana in the 40's. The refinement is brought in by a band of selected Tennessee walking mares that will refine your colt or filly's head and legs and the outcome is a trail riders dream. A "glide ride" with a sound body and mind. Welcome home the walking horse of yesteryear!

Sunny was 6 months old when delivered to my doorstep. It was 40 below zero when he left Manitoba in December and came to Alabama and he has made himself at home ever since. He is housed in a open pasture with 8 broodmares and his first production crop will be available for sale the summer of 2005. Due to the pasture breeding of this stallion, he will not stand at stud this year. Select one of our fine broodmares and reserve your colt/filly today.

This stallion dates back to Roy Rogers Trigger, Jr. (Allens Gold Zephyr TWHBEA #431975) four times on his pedigree and has the wonderful palomino color just as his ancestor, Trigger. Standing a shade over 16.1, this beautiful equine specimen is a gentleman in every way. He can be handled like a "lap" dog and has manners that are next to none. His "rocking chair" canter is magnificent. His bone structure is massive. He will put size and stamina on your very own "trace of trigger".
